Mood boards.

I may be a little slow, seeing as our portfolio was handed in well over a week ago now, but I thought I would share with you my mood boards I created- Heritage, Wit, Sensuality and Purity. It's nice not to come home, switch my laptop on and open Photoshop ready for hours of creating, deleting, re-arranging, deleting again before finally getting bored and deciding that what is on screen will have to do!

BECCA Academy.

Its not very often that I'm sat in bed on the early hours of Sunday morning feeling the urge to blog. But whilst I was reading the ASOS magazine I had received a week ago in the post (in the attempt to try and send me to sleep knowing I have work at 9am) I suddenly got extremely excited when I came across a promising advert. Seeing an advert for BECCA Academy I immediately googled it when I saw the line 'Tailored for both aspiring Makeup Artists and personal application'. I forgot to mention, I LOVE make-up, not just the products itself, but I love creative make-up, although I'm not very good at it, I enjoy spending a long time doing my make up for a night out and love watching professionals apply it, its something I have really thought about pursuing myself before. So browsing through the site, I see there is a range of courses for everyone, whether you want to learn to do day and night make-up for personal use, whether you want to learn to do bridal make-up, and whether you want to go all out and learn the whole thing. Which may I add is a 7 week course in which you can receive a good qualification, contacts in the industry and a pretty impressive portfolio. Maybe this is what my 12 week break from uni in the summer could consist of......

My Obsession with Headbands!

I don't really know why or how I came about wearing one, but for the last two years its safe to say that I have pretty much worn a headband across my forehead every day. I don't know how many I have now but its probably creeping past the 50 mark, although I do tend to have a few fav's that I wear all the time (very upset that my most favourite one broke and I can't find a replica anywhere). The more sparkly the better I say!
